DIY Mint-Infused Oil
Florida Fresh Herbs Mint
Organic carrier oil such as olive, grapeseed, or jojoba
Amber bottles for storage
Place mint in crockpot or double-boiler and cover with organic carrier oil of your choice. The oil should cover the herbs by at least an inch. Gently heat the herbs over very low heat (around 100 degrees F) for up to 5 hours, or until the oil takes on the color and scent of the herb. Turn off heat and allow to cool. Once oil is cooled, remove the herbs and strain using cheesecloth. Bottle into dry, sterilized amber bottles. Store in a cool, dark, dry place. Oil is good for up to a year.
